This falls project, which will probably never end. These are the eight which I have completed. Check 'Landscape' under my gallary.
"Above my bed is the Van Gogh painting the "Cafe de Nuit" which plays the beautiful blue-purple night sky off the warm and intimate cafe light. Night photography is beautiful, and holds the same merit by trying to capture the same aesthetic. Scenes become alive as fluorescent lighting washes the landscape in blue, sodium vapor lamps paint buildings and streets in orange, and occasionally, mercury vapor bulbs accent with saturated green. I love the ability of different colored light to segment a photograph or painting into scenes, which then by juxtaposition play off and enhance one another. When painted by lights the landscape of the city is more easily refined into abstraction. To combine subtle abstraction, color, and architecture into one series of images is the goal of my project."
