hehe, actually more of a pond. a pond with a ph lvl that.... hurts the testing strips. :D But thanks! I had just been to an Ansel Adams exibit at the mfa so i was trying to duplicate his style. Learn from it, ya know?

There's something really sad about this - like it's part of a story. Maybe it's because I've been playing -too- much FF7, but it really brings to mind the kind of view you'd get of the lake just before the city of Ancients.

It's beautifully composed and balanced, with the trees providing an excellent frame for the calm of the water, where the reflections of sky and trees blur towards the horizon. The b/w texture is an ideal choice - wonderful stuff.

that reminds me of that book, about the two trees that loved eachother, ... and then one of them gets cut down and the other tree is all sad.....

anyway, i like your pics ale-kun! your getting soooo much better at using positive and negative space!

Awwww! :hug: you've really improved and come MILES as a photographic artist - you have an eye for the commonplace that turns it from that into something markedly exciting :)
